Receptionist/Office Assistant

The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly International Secretariat in Copenhagen, Denmark is currently seeking a Receptionist with secretarial skills to answer and direct incoming telephone calls, provide information to callers in a friendly and courteous manner, take messages, receive visitors, maintain the appearance of the reception area, distribute incoming mail and faxes, and assist with records management. The Receptionist will handle other clerical or administrative duties as assigned.

DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a candidate who is professional, articulate and outgoing. The candidate must also have good organizational skills, be detail-oriented and conscientious, and have the ability to function well in an international work environment. The candidate must have previous experience with reception duties, as well as other secretarial and administrative responsibilities. Fluent written and spoken English is required, as well as a working knowledge of Danish. In addition, knowledge of other OSCE languages (German, French, Spanish, Russian or Italian) is an advantage. Experience with the Microsoft Office Package is necessary, as is an ability to work well under pressure. The candidate must have the willingness and flexibility to work longer hours, sometimes over weekends, at peak times when we are most busy, and to occasionally travel within the OSCE area.

REMUNERATION: Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. OSCE PA salaries are exempt from taxation in Denmark.
