Sandino Hostel is a green oasis in the heart of Berlin, a community with heart, and a chance to experience the real East-Berlin. The hostel is welcoming every summer hundred of guests from all around the world since 2005.
Your Responsibilities
– Meet clients and welcoming them inside the hostel
– Cleaning duties (bed sheets, common bathrooms)
Requirements
– Strong communication skills
– Ability to identify guests needs and propose solutions
– No diploma required but a Bachelor or Master degree in a related area is welcoming too to write a thesis or accomplish an internship for your school
– Excellent English skills (spoken and written), any other languages is a plus
– Being a EU Citizen
We Offer
– 1000 Euro/Month
– A personal room inside the youth hostel
– A flexible and creative international work environment (people coming from all around the world are staying in Sandino)
– Relaxation in the sun, a table tennis, a football table, a garden in the center of Berlin, barbecues and night fires when you don’t have to take care of welcoming new guests or work on your cleaning daily duties
– The chance to meet and become friend with people from all around the world
– A friendly professional contact with the owner of the place, you will be considered as a person and not as a worker. As a matter of fact, the owner was in DDR until his twenties.
