THAILAND / VESL
After an extremely successful workshop programme in August 2010 we have been asked to try and run the programme for another two regions in Northern Thailand for August 2011.
The workshop programme is an opportunity for UK and Thai teachers to share teaching ideas and experiences. Two rural provinces in Northern Thailand have been selected and we are now in the process of recruiting volunteers to join our workshop teams which will be led by an experienced VESL co-ordinator.
Volunteers will take an active role in developing workshop content and will gain an insight into education in Thailand. The workshops have provided valuable personal development and a unique opportunity to take part in a cultural exchange that can be incorporated into your own school’s global citizenship. This is also a wonderful opportunity for volunteers to travel through a beautiful region of Thailand with other UK teachers, whilst making use of their teaching skills to help make a real and lasting difference to rural schools and communities.
Requirements The workshop programme is open to anyone with teaching experience (PGCE/PGDE inc. NQT, GTP, BEd, TEFL, TESOL and CELTA qualifications) Please see our website for programme dates.
