We are searching for a passionate and committed individual to be responsible for the maintenance, development and promotion of our volunteer, internship and study abroad portfolio.
The role will cover work in:
• Partnership and portfolio management
• Ethics and Best practice
• Finance
• Marketing and communications
• Placement support
• Team training and development
• Strategy development
Skills and Experience
Required
• Experience in the volunteer/ study abroad/ responsible travel field – ideally having completed an international experience in a developing country
• Educated to degree level, preferably in international development, international education, business or marketing
• Good communication skills, preferably having worked with overseas teams, and non-native English speakers in the past, with the ability to diplomatically manage difficult situations with clients and ground team.
• Self confident and able to use your initiative to be able make decisions, lead the team and handle difficult situations
• Financial skills to oversea pricing, payments and invoices
• Well organised with good attention to detail
• Strategic thinker
• Interested in international development issues / news
Desired
• Have experience of people management, preferably of international volunteers or interns
• Business experience including project planning
• Training experience
• Social media and marketing experience
