BrightSpark Teachers are recruiting Primary and Secondary Subject Specialist Teachers for exciting opportunities with a brand new school in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

The school will be joining an existing international college to form a new international school that will host students from early years to A-Level. The school will house students from Malaysia and all over the world and focus on providing a mix of the British curriculum alongside the best of Asian values and education to give students a truly world-class, international education. The school will be providing students with a quality education at all levels, and will accept students at aged 3 into the early years program, then onto the International Primary Curriculum for ages 5-11. Students will progress onto the British secondary system with key stages 3 and 4, taking iGCSE exams and then A-Level exams.

The school will begin accepting some teachers in for training purposes from September 2016, however all teachers are required to arrive by December 2016 latest. The school will open its doors to students in January 2017.

The school requires teachers to be qualified in their home country. Teachers are required to have taught their subject in a mainstream classroom setting and have experience with the British system, and experience teaching iGCSE and A-level is preferred, however those who have taught other national or international curricula will be considered. Teachers should be looking to relocate for a minimum of two years, and understand the costs involved with job relocation. Those already in Malaysia will be interviewed in person; all other teachers will be interviewed via Skype.
