COSTA RICA / Corcovado School
Corcovado School is a pre-school through 6th grade privately funded bilingual school in Puerto Jimenez on the stunning Osa Peninsula, South-west Costa Rica.
The school is currently undergoing an exciting period of expansion and growth and is seeking to increase its student numbers and capacity whilst maintaining its high standards in the coming school year.
Consequently, we are looking for an energetic and committed Pre-Kinder – Kindergarten Native-English speaker teacher who is skilled, self-motivated and passionate about helping our children learn and grow.
You shall be in charge of a class of both Costa Rican and foreign students focusing on subjects such as English, Art and Math in English during the morning sessions.
Hours – 8 – 11.15am 5 days a week (subject to change)
Contract Type – 1 year minimum with option to renew
Salary – Competitive and negotiable
Essential Requirements:
Qualifications / Experience
• Bachelors Degree in an Education-related field or Accredited Preschool Qualification/Certificate
• Native English Speaker
• 3 years minimum working with children in an educational setting
• Experience in monthly and weekly planning
• Basic Spanish language written and spoken

• Cultural Sensitivity
Desirable Skills/Experience (preferred, but not required)
• High level of Spanish
• Accredited Teaching English as a foreign language qualification (eg TEFL/ESL/TESOL,CELTA)
• Experience living/working in Costa Rica/Latin America/Developing Country
