The life of an English language summer camp teacher in Romania is definitely one to brag about. Not only do you get to jump around and sing silly songs with cute kiddos all day, you’ll actually impart important language skills and lessons on your students.
Through games, activities, fun excursions, mini field trips, debates, drama, music, and any other creative techniques you devise, you’ll be delivering English grammar lessons on past participles and the correct use of gerunds with a huge smile on your face.
The goals for your month-long program?
1) Give your campers conversational English practice.
2) Stay energetic.
3) Have a great time.
Expect to teach English for ~15 hours per week, with an additional ~15 hours devoted to hosting lessons in sports, drama, and crafts to allow space for more recreational English learning. Budget some time for lesson and activity planning, too!
With pocket money of €400 (€100 per week) plus fully inclusive accommodation and meals throughout the internship and a flight reimbursement up to €400, you are set to enjoy every moment of your time.
