A highly reputable school in Abuja, Nigeria (www.cradletocrayonschool.com) requires an outstanding Head Teacher to start as soon as possible. The Early Years section of the school has been established since 2008 and the Primary School started in September 2011.
We are looking for an innovative, creative practitioner to lead our school on its journey of providing high quality education to the children of Abuja.

We follow a structured programme of learning based on the Early Years Foundation Stage and National Curriculum for England and Wales. The vision of the school is to establish itself as one of the leading Early Years and Primary settings in Nigeria.
The Head Teacher must:
• Have an excellent track record of teaching and learning
• Be dedicated to excellence in education.
• Have recent and relevant experience of the British Curriculum
• Have or be undertaking NPQH
• Have the ability to lead, inspire and motivate staff and pupils alike
• Have an understanding and/or experience of working in an international setting in a developing country
• Be able to lead curriculum development.
• Be able to demonstrate determination and commitment to sustained improvement.
• Be passionate about learning and teaching and believe in developing the true potential of all children from a wide range of backgrounds.
• Be an exemplary role model with strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Have the ability to ensure good pupil progress through an effective Assessment for Learning cycle
• Have an interest in innovating with ICT
• Be highly motivated, enthusiastic and an exceptional communicator.
