Online Internship with WorkingAbroad

UK WORLDWIDE / WorkingAbroad Projects

We are looking for an intern to join the WorkingAbroad team for a period of up to 3 months. This internship is a great opportunity to gain work experience with an organisation dedicated to arranging volunteer placements abroad in the humanitarian, conservation and teaching sectors.

Opportunities exist to work on:
• NGO and Volunteer Organization research work
• Digital Marketing and communications
• Website development & SEO
• Social media networking development

Ideally we are seeking someone with excellent IT/Internet skills to help us with all aspects of communications, marketing and web presence for WorkingAbroad.com. In addition, if you have a University degree (or are currently studying) that is an added bonus. We also require fluency in English with very good writing skills. Lastly, as this position requires you to work from home – on your own computer – we need an intern that can work independently and who is self-motivated. This position is open to residents of any country, we will provide all training and guidance by email/phone. However it is a bonus if you live in the UK (as it would be good to have an occasional in-person meeting as well).

This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking to gain experience in the domain of conservation/social work and to learn about how international volunteer organisations are run – and who is looking for an internship position such as this to boost their CV.

The internship is a non-salaried position.
Flexibility with days, but ideally a minimum of 2 days a week, part or full time.

If you are interested in applying please forward your CV along with a covering letter explaining why you feel you would be the right person for this internship to aaron@workingabroad.com

Expires: Apr 1, 2014
