We are searching for an intern in our company to develop a CRM system using MS Access or similar, manage our Joomla based websites and develop our Chinese Graduate Index database using PHP and CSS.
InternChina has two offices based in the coastal cities of Qingdao, right between Beijing and Shanghai, and Zhuhai, opposite Hong Kong in southern China. Qingdao and Zhuhai are widely regarded as two of the most beautiful and ‘liveable’ cities in China. They represent the opposite of a stereotypical Chinese city, boasting clean air, a relaxed atmosphere and coastal scenery. Our company was founded by Frank Lenhardt and Duan Yifan in 2006. Since then InternChina has brought nearly 1000 students from countries all over the world to experience the ‘real China’. – Develop our network of university partners.
– Significantly develop our presence on Facebook.
– Help to maintain our other social and business networks online and in person at relevant networking events.
– Visit new and existing partner companies and host families.
– Organize regular social and cultural activities and trips for our clients independently.
– Assisting our management team with administration and handling of enquiries for our programs.
– Help with pickups and welcoming our clients to Qingdao or Zhuhai.
– Assisting our Chinese/foreign marketing-team with finding new Chinese host-families (leafleting, weekend-activities etc.)
Requirements:
– to be fluent in English
– another European language& basic Chinese knowledge would be a plus
– degree related to business, languages or Chinese studies would be ideal
– able to use basic office software effectively
– familiar with all main social networking sites and business networks such as LinkedIn
– ability to communicate with our team and work efficiently to achieve our goals
– willing to work in a small team and ability to work under stress
Salary, benefits: free accommodation in a shared apartment with one other intern (5-6 month internship only)
Place of internship: Zhuhai, China
Duration of internship: 5-6 months OR short term in summer (2-3 months)
