We are a market leader in the provision of bespoke luxury chalet holidays to discerning skiers from across the globe. We require a chef with significant experience at 2AA Rosette or Michelin Starred establishments in the minimum position of Chef de Partie.
The role requires imagination, flexibility and a repertoire encompassing many styles of cooking. Daily and weekly menus must be tailored to the needs of each group of guests within a set budget. Whether a simple hearty supper or formal 5 course gastronomic experience the food produced must be of the very highest standard in content and presentation.
Interpersonal skills are essential as our chefs will experience a certain level of client contact.
On a day to day basis, chefs will be responsible for the following:-
Breakfast- including hot dishes cooked to order. Afternoon tea. Children’s supper. Canapés. Dinner (anything from an informal supper to a 5 course dinner). Catering to specific dietary requirements and allergies. Food hygiene and health and safety (with a weekly deep clean of the kitchen).
Pay range £800 – £1300 per month (depending on experience) + tips + CK benefits package including skipass, ski equipment and accommodation. Working hours will allow skiing six days per week.
Applicants must be a minimum age of 23 years old and hold an EU passport.
You must conform to the entry and work permit regulations required by the Swiss authorities to be considered for this position.
