We are looking to fill two positions. The first is a Hospitality manager position for our Lodge/Restaurant complex in Canterbury region of New Zealand.
This is a very demanding job as we have only a small team of people so list of responsibilities is a long and diverse one.
The second position is for a Chef to run the Lodge kitchen.
Good spoken and written English is ESSENTIAL for both applicants.
Both applicants should have relevant experience in the hospitality industry, possess excellent communication skills, be adaptable and flexible, respond well in stressful situations and be able to think on their feet. This is a live in position and hours of work may vary depending on season and how busy it is. Applicants should be aware that Mt Potts is located in a remote location, and although beautiful the environment can be a challenging one during the winter season. Ability to get on with each other and the existing members of the team is essential. Ideally we would like to find a couple to fill this position so that they may share accommodation and the responsibility of ensuring the lodge is ran well.
