UK / Igloo Backpackers Hostel
By signing up to be a volunteer at the igloo you will support us in a variety of tasks that mainly involve: general cleaning, housekeeping, making beds and laundry. In addition, possibly some light maintenance/DIY work, painting, gardening, running errands and welcoming/helping guests. Responsibilities can also include some reception duties which may include telephone and online bookings, tourism information service, night porter shifts, & looking after the emergency phone & alarms.
We are looking for easy going personalities that are sociable and prepared to ready to roll up their sleeves and not scared of a bit of hard work (long stays are always preferable).
