PERFECT FOR A TRAVELLING KIWI OR AUSSIE COUPLE – We have a vacancy for a live in couple in our award winning boutique inn near Mildenhall in Suffolk. This will be a 4 – 8 month contract, starting immediately with potential to extend the contract for the right people. Immediate start required. Perfect for a couple travelling and looking to earn money before the next part of their travels.
The Inn has hotel bedrooms and is quirky, individual and privately owned and run and has recently been crowned “The UK’s Funkiest B&B”. We are supported by a team of hard working, loyal & dedicated staff who work hard and have lots of fun. We have 15 boutique hotel bedrooms, a popular pub & AA rosette dining room and keeps nice and busy.
Person one – Kitchen assistant /maintenance – washing up, deep cleaning kitchen, serving starters and desserts, veg prep, keeping outside tidy & general maintenance work.
Person two – Must be outgoing, friendly & personable to work front of house. Working in the pub, dining room, reception & house-keeping. Taking food orders, pouring drinks, customer service, changing guest bedrooms, cleaning and checking guests in & out, occasional locking / unlocking. To work front of house you must have very good spoken English and a smiley happy persona.
We need a couple who are willing to work hard, be flexible and fit into our amazing team.
Experience is preferred, but not essential. English as a first language is preferable. Both positions are full time, hours & wages negotiable.
