SPAIN / Berlitz
We are looking for dynamic native English speakers, ideally of 18 to 35 years of age, to participate in Linguistic Immersion Courses in Jaen and Jerez de la Frontera for the month of July, 2012. Both theses cities are located in Andalucia, Spain. These courses are organized through the Education Ministry, for Spaniards of between 16 and 20 years of age (approx.).
You do not need any teaching experience or knowledge of Spanish. The idea is that you accompany the students during meals, class time and excursions, so that they are constantly immersed in natural English from first thing in the morning until night-time. Teachers will be responsible for the more pedagogical aspects of the course. As the conversation assistant, you will be able to talk about a vast range of subjects, and make the students feel comfortable speaking English.

The idea is that the native speakers live together with the Spanish students, and so you would share a bedroom with Spanish participants, always of the same gender.
Each day, the schedule includes one-to-one conversations and discussions as a group, workshops, theatre, cinema, excursions and other pedagogically-based fun activities.
In return, Berlitz offers full-board accommodation in the residencies of Jaen or Jerez de la Frontera. For one-month participation in Jaen, Berlitz would give 200 Euros towards expenses, payable at the end of the course. In the case of the two-week programme in Jerez de la Frontera, Berlitz would pay 100 Euros towards expenses, payable at the end of the course.
