SWITZERLAND / Family Girardin
I am currently working as an au pair for this lovely family about 20 minutes outside of Geneva. I finish in July and so the family have asked me to help find my replacement. The job outline is as follows:
1 year beginning August 2014
35 hours p/w looking after three boys ages 2, 7 and 9
Good food and accommodation with balcony included
‘Pocket money’ 600chf p/m
French tuition paid for by family
Lots of help and advice about living and traveling in Switzerland
Opportunity to stay in their ski chalet
The candidate must be a EU citizen with English as their mother tongue.
The family speak French but both parents speak good English. I arrived speaking no French and can now understand and communicate quite confidently in French. The father is a doctor in Geneva and the mother a dietician in Lausanne. They live in a semi-detached house in a village surrounded by vineyards with great views of the lake and the mountains. There are also good transport links to Geneva and Lausanne.
The boys are well behaved and great fun to work with.
