Kitchen assistant needed for small seafood restaurant on the picturesque Isle of Mull from middle of April to end of September. Secluded village of only 120 people, which is a popular tourist destination. Very nice environment, but no nightlife and quite isolated. 5-6 days a week, working split shifts. Duties include helping to prepare veg, sauces and other dishes under the instruction of the owner chef. Also includes dishwashing when necessary, picking veg from the garden,plate presentation and filling in for dining room cleaner once in a bluemoon. Chef willing to train the right person but some food experience/knowledge would be an asset. Start at £6.50/hr with possibility of raise to £7/hr. Great Tips! Rustic caravan provided for staff accommodation if necessary. Non Smokers only.
