Kevin Richardson is a world-renowned lion behaviourist and conservationist that offers participants to the Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary program a minimum 7 night stay, in which volunteers will learn and get involved in the daily running and operations of the sanctuary. During you stay, you will be directly involved with the maintenance and restoration of the 1200Ha Big Five Game Reserve, while at the same time providing the animals with top-class care and assistance in their rehabilitation.
This programme allows volunteers to work in a Big Five game reserve and be involved in the general cleaning and maintenance of the reserve, as well as sanctuary work. Work activities covered in the sanctuary section focus around animal health, husbandry and enrichment and will leave you with a pretty good idea as to what it takes to run a wildlife sanctuary. If Kevin is not travelling during the time you are here, you will obviously will also meet him!
2 weeks 1455 GBP / 4 weeks 2585 GBP including accommodation, meals, pick up/drop of airport Johannesburg.
