Taiwan Teaching Job (K-12/P-12) Openings For January/February 2014 Start
Public and Private Schools in Taiwan are currently looking for new Certified Teachers who can teach full-time from Monday – Friday between 8AM to 4PM.
■ Contract term:
Around one year (Renewable)
■ Student age:
7 – 16 years old (Elementary/Junior High Level)
■ Class Size:
approximately 25-38 kids
■ Work load: (vary in accordance with school)
20-25 class/week ; 40-50 mins/class
■ Monthly Salary: – depends on teacher qualifications
Public Schools : BA NT$60,890 MA NT$67,925 PhD NT$70,895)
Private Schools : NT$63000 or higher
■ Housing subsidy: vary in accordance with school
NT$5000/month (solo teacher)
NT$10000/month (with family dependants)
■ Airfare Reimbursement : conditional – vary in accordance with school
Round-trip 40000-80000 NTD,
■ End of contract Performance bonus : in accordance with the school
Around one month salary – by proportion of actual working months
■ Paid vacation: in accordance with school calendar
Around 10 days
■ Labor and health insurance:
Available
■ Work permit & alien resident visa (ARC):
Provided
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Native citizen from the USA/CA/UK/AUS/ NZ/ SA or IRE
2. Minimum Bachelors Degree holder
3. Teacher license /Teacher Registration Certificate holder
4. Open for MARC/APRC holders
