A unique opportunity for experienced EFL professionals, or recently certified teachers, to gain valuable teaching experience with our Fokus language school partner in Shishi, Fujian Province, China.
Fokus language school franchise is a well-established and reputable company based in Munich, Germany. Our courses are designed to meet clients communicative needs and we have a reputation for quality, flexibility and a “can do” approach. Our trainers are the key: they are interculturally aware and enjoy working with people and they understand the importance of the right “chemistry” in the classroom.
What to expect:
Shishi is a charming town located between the historical cities of Guangzhou and Xiamen and 15 minutes from the coast.
FOKUS Shishi is located on the Minnan University of Science and Technology Campus, a well-known university in Fujian Province.
You will join a small multi-national team seeking to expand its operations in the region.
30 teaching hours/week.
Current program includes English for children from 6 – 16 years, university students and business English for adults, in addition to summer/winter camps for children.
Mentoring program through FOKUS Germany.
We welcome applications from: Native English speakers with a university degree, TEFL Certification (120 hours), and experience working with children.
Knowledge of Chinese culture and the language or a strong interest in the country and its customs is an advantage.
The Fokus school in Shishi offers:
A one year contract.
Net Monthly Salary:10.000 RMB
12 days paid leave + national holidays
Return airfare

Free furnished accommodation in a new apartment building on campus.
Meals in Canteen: 1 RMB
