Join a photography trek through rural Thailand to support victims of human trafficking

THAILAND / Kaya Responsible Travel

The need to raise awareness around the issue of Child Trafficking has become paramount in the fight against it. A community that is particularly known for this are the hill tribes of Northern Thailand, where lack of money and resources drives parents to make difficult and desperate decisions. The aim of this trek is to capture the essence of this struggle in photographs to help more people understand the dilemma that these people face being victims of their circumstances.

A good imagination and an interest in human rights will help you on this project. The help volunteers give contributes to building a network of support and hope for the victims of trafficking. All of the profits from the photographs taken are channelled into a shelter which provides support to victims and helps them learn to trust and give themselves to supportive community.

We have a trek running in February and hope to get as many volunteers as possible involved. Join us today and see parts of Thailand off the beaten track and unspoiled by tourists.
