Our volunteers are instrumental in making Wilderness into what it is. We offer lots of opportunities, across our departments, to give you amazing first hand experience of what it’s like to work on a festival. Roles include:
Gate Greeter
Liaising with performers and crew on arrival to offer directions and advice.
Programming Assistants
Assisting the Programming Team with various tasks across the festival venues, including but not limited to, backstage work, stage resets, artist riders and artist liaison.
Info Tent Staff
Engaging with people from all parts of the festival, providing an important directory service and hub for enquiries and gaining in-depth knowledge of the festival as a whole.
Build Crew
Working alongside the Production and Creative Production teams to help build the festival.
Wellbeing Staff
Ranging from reception to info and venue staff this is a great role for anyone with an interest in wellbeing and, in particular, large-scale wellbeing events and how they’re organised.
Banquet Staff
With a line-up as important as our music, get first-hand experience of what it takes to deliver fine-dining to a mass audience, outside the norm of its regular setting.
Programme Sellers
Perfect for those volunteering as a pair, engaging with festivalgoers selling our programmes across site.
