Full time Instructor and groom/rider wanted
We are looking for one instructor and one groom/rider/instructor for our busy 50 – horse riding school, livery and competition yard in a beautiful location in East Devon. www.devonriding.co.uk
Instructor position requires BHS qualification AI or II (or an equivalent teaching qualification) and experience and enthusiasm for teaching all ages and abilities – the job will also include running courses and special events. You must also be prepared to fit in with the existing team doing all yard duties.
Groom/ rider/instructor position will be required to look after, exercise and school (unsupervised) 3-5 competition horses – mainly dressage and low level eventing – but also to help train and re-train riding school horses and either teach or take hacks out (according to previous experience / qualifications). Will also be required to occasionally groom for competition. Should be able to pull, trim, plait and clip to high standard and work with existing team doing all yard duties. There may also be opportunity to compete one of the horses for the right candidate.
