BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS / Cooper Island Beach Club
We are seeking a energetic and hardworking individual to run our Housekeeping Department at our island eco-resort in October 2014.
Candidates must have previous experience in housekeeping and be prepared to work in a hot non-air conditioned environment. Duties will include the daily cleaning and set up of ten guest rooms, cleaning and organisation of all housekeeping areas and storage, daily cleaning of public restroom. Ordering and Inventory control, upholding Health, Safety & Hygiene policies, and liaison with FOH management & staff.
As we are located on a virtually uninhabited island (Google Earth N18 23 05.22 W64 30 45.38), you must have the ability to live in close quarters and thrive on working & socializing within a small team environment. Applicants must be able to speak, read & write business-English and previous experience in the Caribbean or remote locations with limited amenities will be a distinct advantage.
Five day work-week will include split shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays. Shared staff accommodation and all meals will be provided on-island. Salary will vary depending on experience and package includes share of resort service charge and year-end bonuses.
Work permit applications require a current, clean medical and clean police clearance certificate.
