CANADA / St. George Hotel
The St. George Hotel is a themed 7 room B&B depicting the 1890s Victorian era in Barkerville Historic Town. We are searching for 3 flexible and adaptable individuals who would be comfortable in historical costumes with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and an interest in the hospitality field. Candidates in travel and tourism studies will be given preference, although, your enthusiasm, attention to detail and German language skills are considered strong assets.

Responsible for the Visual Presentation of the Main Floor by :
Preforming Post-Breakfast Clean-up to Food-Safe Standards
Food Prep – Food Inventory
Laundry – Parlour and Dining Area
Accessible and Available to guests and the public.
Full/Part time Room Attendant/”Upstairs Maid” Late June to Labour Day Weekend
Our rooms are individually decorated and require attention to routine and décor details retaining each room’s character.
Complete Daily/Weekly Cleaning Rotation Rosters.
Shared Duties:
Serving breakfast, processing reservations and welcoming our guests to the hotel
Remuneration includes: hourly wage, room and board
Must have Visa to work in Canada. Must commit to 2-3 months or longer, please.
Barkerville and the nearby community of Wells has a lively social scene populated by artists, actors and musicians who take advantage of the many outdoor activities the area has to offer including hiking, mountain bike trails, canoeing, rafting and whatnot else.
