This unique program offers hospitality positions within luxury game lodges across South Africa, with a guaranteed internship placement prior to departure. This is an exciting and unique way to build international work experience and skills in the culinary, hospitality, or tourism industry whilst living alongside African wildlife and wilderness. You will also have the opportunity to explore one of the most breath-taking and diverse countries in the world.
This professional internship program is offered by long running GVI partner, Bushwise. Bushwise is a South African based training school, and has successfully placed over 200 interns in lodges over the last three years and is run by experienced and respected personnel within the hospitality industry in Africa.
Each position has been carefully developed to ensure you get the best experience possible. You will learn new skills on a two week orinenation course, particpate in a skills exchange program with local staff and gain an understanding of how luxury lodges work in Africa. You will also recieve an introduction to the amazing wildlife that will surround you and above all, be immersed in diverse cultures.
