We have a unique opportunity for you at a well-known school in Hong Kong that puts a focus on students critical thinking and debate skills.
You will have the opportunity to be part of a school that is leading after-school writing and debate programs for students ages 5-18.
You will teach innovative classes for writing and public speaking that have helped thousands of students become creative thinkers, exceptional writers, and confident speakers. Their students go on to win national and international writing and debating competitions and get accepted to top universities around the world including Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Columbia, and many others.
TEACHING REQUIREMENTS
* Nationality — US, UK, Hong Kong, Canadian
* Education — Bachelor’s degree or above
* Teaching certifications — 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certified
* Teaching experience – 1 year if you have an education degree, two years if the degree is in another field
* The school is particularly interested in teachers who have taught SAT, debate/Model United Nations or teachers that are comfortable with film editing using Adobe.
*If you have a year of teaching experience and experience in any of the following then please do still apply: debate, MUN (Model United Nations), mock trial, graphic design, film/video making, or coding skills.
REMUNERATION PACKAGE
* 44 hours a week.
* Age levels: 6-10 Writing Classes, 10 and up debate classes, some SAT prep with high school.
* Pay: 22,000-27,000 HKD (Depending on experience) 16-17 National Holidays
* 14 days Paid Leave

* 2 weeks paid training
Locations: Kowloon, Causeway Bay
Arrival Date: May/June 2016
Contract: Minimum 2 year contract, this position offers a lot of room for advancement and leadership
