We provide accommodation for medical doctors who arrive to take their licensing exams before being admitted to the National Health Service (NHS) to live and work in the UK! We are family run and share our property with these amazing people. Practice your English, meet likeminded people, live the Liverpool lifestyle (home of The Beatles and Liverpool Football Club), learn new hospitality skills (practical and management) and make friends for life!
We run similar to a bed and breakfast so we provide breakfast in the mornings and prepare rooms for guests checking into our property. General property upkeep and maintenance along with any DIY skills you might have are helpful but not essential.
We have a separate room for all WorkAwayers with a maximum occupancy of 4 people (male/female mix). The newly refurbished room is spacious and has 2 bunkbeds with a private bathroom (Shower/Toilet/Sink). The room is accessed via a digital code so is also secure and there is plenty of storage for your belongings.
We are based in Liverpool, UK. It is a vibrant and eclectic city with plenty to see and do. All our previous volunteers have been impressed with the variety this city has to offer such as the UNESCO world heritage locations and buzzing nightlife! Plenty of green open spaces and ideally central to attractions like the Lake District, Chester and Formby Beach. You can practice your English skills, learn how we run this unique property and share the experience with other like-minded people!
We provide bicycles to use to get around town and we are ideally located between the Liverpool Football Club and the City (each is about 15 mins walk from us). We are next to a large park with green open spaces and lakes. Liverpool nightlife is legendary and it is a big student oriented city so plenty of things to do from craft bars and clubs, to crazy golf and day trips.
