THAILAND & SRI LANKA / VESL
Volunteers work as language assistants, helping to teach English in schools in Northern Thailand and Sri Lanka. Projects run 4-6 weeks over June/July/August.
Info + Selection Event : London : Sat 22nd January (possible additional event in March TBC)
What would I do?
Volunteers run activities / games focusing on spoken English, helping to improve confidence levels and make learning English fun. Volunteers are also able to run after-school games, sports, music, art clubs.
Where do I stay?
Volunteers live within the local community with a family in a homestay placement. This is a unique opportunity to experience a culture first-hand whilst helping to make a real difference.
What support do I get?
Volunteers receive pre-departure training and the VESL teaching pack in addition to our volunteer handbook. Volunteers are given comprehensive backup + support from our experienced in-country co-ordinators.
