Are you a skilled and experienced catering professional who takes pride in managing and enabling a consistently high standard catering operation? Do you have the suitable skillset to train, mentor and manage a team of chalet chefs?
As part of our Resort Management Team, our Head of Catering will play a significant role ensuring the delivery of immaculate service standards within our property portfolio. Overseeing all catering aspects, you will be expected to work closely with a team of Chefs and Chalet Hosts, to deliver cost effective, stunning menu choices, which will exceed the expectations of Ski Armadillo guests. We are looking for an experienced catering professional who can manage, motivate and support a team of chefs across multiple chalets, combined with significant knowledge of food hygiene and good practice procedures. Communication and people skills are a must, with the ability to mentor chalet chefs or hosts when support is required.
What will you be doing?
Our Head of Catering will be expected to work hard – you will be required to train and manage a team of chefs whilst ensuring our chalet kitchens are well maintained and compliant to good practice standards.
Who are we looking for?
Someone with extensive catering experience with a background in restaurants, hotels or similar. A motivated, resourceful individual with strong people management skills and the ability to mentor and motivate a team to consistently provide the highest quality food. You will have appropriate health and safety knowledge, along with necessary skills to work efficiently within an allocated budget. Any cooking skills and previous winter season experience would be an advantage.
