Your main responsibilities will be:•
To ensure the daily smooth running of the hotel operations, being a point of contact for guests, Dealing with their requests, as well as directing any necessary changes to ensure seamless guest service.
To organise and plan excursions to nearby sites (safaris in Wilpattu National Park, snorkeling at Bar Reef etc.); including making travel arrangements and assist with the day to day running of activities within the resort
You will also be in charge of organising special events, i.e. weddings, Christmas lunch/dinner, New Year’s Eve parties, cocktails and live music evening.
This is a great opportunity for a hard working, pro-active individual to get hands on hotel experience and to be part of this exciting resort. Tourism is currently booming in Sri Lanka and this internship will give immense insight.
The candidate will be based in the resort, with flights, accommodation, food and a monthly allowance provided. We are looking for someone to start in November.The internship is for 6 months but may be extended for the right candidate.
