Green Ghana Project Volunteer

GHANA / Volunteer Partnerships for West Africa

Volunteer Partnerships for West Africa (VPWA) is a volunteer-driven, non-profit NGO based in Ghana.

In 2007 VPWA set up a Conservation and Environment program called ‘Green Ghana Project’. Our main and only goal is to build a healthy and sustainable environment for all.

Volunteers are required to participate in different projects. Examples include:
– Establish a Tree Nursery to provide reliable and affordable seeds that would help subsidize tree crop production at the local, national and regional levels. This will be achieved with Solar and other green energies.
– Design measures to rehabilitate degraded sand, stone and mineral mining lands.
