NORTH CYPRUS / Cine Miles Restaurant and Bar
Main responsibilities are to support the manager and include the following duties:
– Staff management (training, rotas etc.)
– Stock management
– Help with service and to lead staff by example (e.g .upselling, table checks etc.)
– Customer relations
– Contribute to promotion and marketing through support and ideas (e.g. introducing special nights/events/offers)
– Monitoring cleanliness and organisation
– Developing measures to improve efficiency
Other requirements:
– A willingness to learn Turkish (basic) will be a plus
– Excellent leadership and customer service experience is a must in this position
– Cooking skills would be beneficial but is not necessary
We are originally from London and have been living in north Cyprus since 2003 to run the family hotel. The nearby (but separate) restaurant/bar was opened in 2009. We are owners that believe the restaurant and bar run as a team. Everyone is expected to help with all sorts of tasks when it is busy, no matter your position.
Your accommodation will be covered as part of your salary. The selected applicant will be staying at the Mountain View Hotel (see http://www.mountainviewcyprus.com/)
All staff meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) will be provided. Any additional food/drink wanted from the menu will be at a 50% staff discount.
Salary will range between 130 GBP to 150 GBP per week depending on experience. Tips and sales commission/competition also provided. (Please note this is a very high salary for north Cyprus, especially with the current strength of the GBP to Turkish Lira).
The selected applicant will work 6 days per week.
Tips will be shared daily and sales commission/competitions (paid in Turkish Lira), will be agreed after arrival.
Working hours will be 18:00 to 03:00 with breaks.
Transport costs from hotel to bar will be covered.
