CHINA / Reach to Teach
We are looking for teachers who have experience working with young learners and who are willing to learn our early childhood teaching methodology and proprietary curriculum for teaching young learners.
We are a private preschool providing early education enrichment classes in China. We do not teach English per se, but all of our classes are offered in English by native speakers, and the students/children naturally learn English in the process.
The school is located 40 minutes from downtown Guangzhou in the Shunde District of Foshan. The Xilang-Kuiqi Road line of the Guangzhou Subway Station is the first intercity underground rail in China, covering Haizhu District and Liwan District of Guangzhou City as well as Chancheng District and Nanhai District of Foshan City.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• North American teachers only, please
• BA degree
• 12 months of teaching experience (Teaching experience can be interpreted as some combination of classroom teaching, tutoring, camp counseling and potentially even coaching.)
JOB DETAILS
• 35-40 hours per week
• Small classes – Only 8-10 students per class
• 75 minute classes
• 3-4 classes per day
• Two consecutive days off during the week
• 18 days of paid annual leave and 12 days unpaid for first year contracts
• All paid days are inclusive of the observed holidays
REMUNERATION PACKAGE
• 12,000RMB per month
• $900USD flight reimbursement paid out during your first month in China
• Annual bonuses
• Airport collection and full arrival support
• The school will put you up in a hotel for your first 30 days in China
• Housing assistance
• Entitled to $1,500/year for transportation to any chosen destination(s) if a two-year contract is signed.
• Assistance with securing a local SIM chip and Chinese cell phone number
• Orientation to the Shenzhen Subway, city geography and highlights
• Referrals to Mandarin language lessons/tutoring
• Z Visa and reimbursement of visa expenses
