Infanterix Neuhausen is a multilingual Daycare/Kindergarten with children from 6 months to 6 years. We have two English / German Daycare groups and one Kindergarten and two French / German Daycare groups and one Kindergarten. We are located in the Neuhausen area of Munich.
We offer a friendly work environment with lots of team building events, workshops and career development opportunities. Each group has two native speakers and one German speaker with groups of twelve children for the Daycare and groups of twenty four children for the Kindergarten.
We are currently looking for two native English Early Childhood Educators for our English/German daycare groups with a basic knowledge of German.
Job Description

8:00 Arrival of the children
9:00 Breakfast
Morning circle
Activities
Free-play or garden
11:30 Lunch
12:30 Nap / quiet time
15:00 Snack
16:00 till closing Activities, free-play, garden
Teachers are also responsible for planning activities that can support the children’s development of motor skills, musical awareness, linguistic abilities or even domestic skills. By observing the children, the teachers are able to recognize the interests of the children and plan age appropriate activities. Teachers will plan excursions into the surrounding area and work together to supervise the children. Teachers will communicate regularly with parents and carers and carry out regular meetings to discuss the child’s development. Our work must be based on our educational concept which follows the guidelines of the Bavarian Education Plan.
Position Requirements
Qualifications:
A Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Childcare and Education or an equivalent qualification. We also welcome applicants with a BA Degree in Early Childhood Education and qualified teachers.
A basic knowledge of German with certification if possible – support will be given to improve your German skills
Skills:
Organized, open-minded, responsible, creative, punctual, reliable, ability to work as part of a team
Required Language Skills:
English – Native speaker with clear pronunciation
German – A little
You must live in Munich or the surrounding areas or be willing to relocate
