ROMANIA / Lisabela Rescue
Get paid to work with dogs in Romania
Lisabela Rescue is a little oasis of kindness and love for man’s supposed best friend, amidst a wilderness of cruelty. This position would suit a couple or single person willing to do do some dirty work, in return for which you can learn how to help traumatised dogs to learn to trust humans again.
The accommodation can work for a couple; it’s basic but does include a shower and toilet. The shelter is outside a small village in the Danube delta. It is wild, open countryside/ farmland.
Ideally we would like a European citizen who could stay there all year round, but for now even a 3-month placement would be a great help to us.
The basic pay is around 600 euro /month + PPE and accommodation; however for someone willing to do the work, and with a genuine love of animals, this could increase substantially. There are also a couple of horses, a donkey and some cats at the shelter. You would be working with good people and would be making a difference to the terrible ‘dog problem’ in Romania. We regularly transport dogs for adoption in the UK.
