Our client based in Switzerland, a world leader in their field, is currently recruiting for a Dean – Director for their new International Hospitality School in Iran, someone offering a unique blend of experience in academia, teaching and general management.

Iran based, reporting to the Board, the successful applicant will thrive working in a complex, challenging and fast paced environment, offering high standards of creativity and relationship building. The role involves commercial and operational responsibility incorporating academic administration, student affairs, campus & estate management, procurement, human resources, sales & marketing, IT & finance.

Applicants should possess 15 years experience including hospitality management and teaching within a recognised institution, academic management and programme development, with general management expertise. Candidates should also have a passion for hospitality and the Iranian culture, gained by living, working, as a visitor or education in the country. Farsi would be an advantage but is not essential.

This is an exciting complex environment with plenty of challenges requiring a high degree of empathy, self-motivation, organisation skills and ability to set standards in relationships, trust, transparency and collaboration. We are seeking a candidate who is quick, spirited, shows a high level of attention to detail and has a good sense of humour.

Along with salary, the package will include accommodation, annual flights if relocating as well as removal expenses.
