CatalyticAction Lebanon 2015 workshop presents an exciting one-week Design/Build experience to build a playground for Syrian Refugee Children in Lebanon. During this international workshop, you will be working alongside professionals, local students as well as Syrian refugee children. You will also be exposed to the work of our local partners whose main aim is to better the conditions of marginalized people in Lebanon.
The Design-Build workshop is divided into two complimentary workshops.
Workshop 1: Structure Building workshop
Workshop 2: Playground Components and Finishing workshop
You are advised to apply to one of the workshops according to your background, interests and skills. Right after receiving the participation fee, we will send you an info pack with the workshop details and schedule. Workshop 1: Mon 10 August 2015 – Mon 17 August 2015
Workshop 2: Mon 24 August 2015 – Mon 31 August 2015
Where?
The playground construction will take place in Nahreya school, Bar Elias, Bekaa’ Valley, Lebanon.
