Nursery nurses with a Degree in “Early Years” required for contract in Seville, Spain
We are making final preparations for the opening of the first British Nursery in Seville, Southern Spain and are now looking for qualified nursery staff to join our team! We believe that this is a fantastic opportunity for experienced or newly qualified nursery teachers.
This is a unique opportunity for the sucessful candidates to work in a British nursery in Spain, whilst gaining valuable experience in a unique nursery environment. The nursery, La Escuela Infantil Britanica (The British Nursery), will be a nursery dedicated to producing Bilingual Spanish children, in order to do this English will be the only language spoken in the nursery, therefore giving them complete access and familiarisation to the English Language during the daytime in the nursery and then Spainsh at home with their parents.
This year (September 2011 – June 2012) will be our first nursery year, which we are very optimistic about! The Nursery itself consists of two purpose-built buildings which boasts 8 large classrooms and will allow us to accommodate over one hundred 0-3 year olds in the nursery.
The Nursery is located in the west of Seville in a small town called Bormujos. Bormujos is located in a nice quiet suburb of Seville which has a variety of transport links to the centre of Seville.
Early Years staff job / position requirements**Educated to degree level in Nursery “early Years” or be atleast Level 3 in Early Years (with Diploma in early years)**
Experience, skills and attributes as follows:
* British Native
* Smart / Clean appearance.
* Well-spoken with an above average English qualification (GCSE grade
“C” or Higher).
* Previous experience ideally within a supervisory role.
* Previous experience teaching/coaching reception age children in
Sports, Play and Art and Crafts.
* Enthusiastic and organised with excellent communication skills
* Caring, energetic and outgoing with good use of initiative
* Flexible, team player willing to take on various tasks as required
Conditions of “early years” nursery staff positions / jobsThe nearest airport to Bormujos is Sevilla international Airport, although both Malaga (Spain) and Faro (Portugal) Airports are only 2 hours drive away if direct flights to seville cannot be arranged.
Seville Airport has direct flights to Stanstead and Liverpool (Liverpool flights are seasonal) with Ryanair. Both Malaga and Faro cover most other uk destinations with Ryanair and Easyjet for your information.
Your initial contract of employment as an “early years” teacher will be for a period of 10 months (includes an initial 3 month trial period). In addition for those who require it there will be an option to continue through the summer in our summer schools which are planned for all future summers beginning in 2012.
