We are currently recruiting for both Cruise Ship Youth Staff & Qualified Childcare Staff for various seasonal Cruises.
Cruise ship youth staff are responsible for maintaining a safe and friendly children’s recreational area on board the cruise ship and to provide a variety of fun games and activities to children up to the age of 12 years. The activity sessions will include a wide variety of activities including drama activities, fun games, arts and craft and play activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Cruise childcare staff are responsible for planning, preparing and delivering a range of activities for children up to the age of 12 years.
Cruise ship childcare staff will assist with on board including embarkation / disembarkation, muster station duties, welcome on board shows, meeting and greeting parents.
Welcome and get to know the children in the session, ensuring that their enjoyment is your prime concern. Care for and encourage the children on board the cruise ship and integrate any unhappy children into the group activities.
Ensure the Health and Safety of the children in your care.
QUALIFICATIONS
2 yrs experience recreation/education ages 2-17 required. Extrovert, quick and critical thinker, witty, personable, and articulate. Must be service oriented and have the ability to take direction.
EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Ideally within a sports or childcare sector.
NVQ Level 3/Cache Diploma in childcare or Equivalent
