Kidz Galore is a well-established family business operating Childcare Centres in Perth, Western Australia since 1994. We are currently expanding and have an exciting opportunity for graduates wishing to relocate to Perth and be part of a high quality education service. The centres are located close to Perth City Centre and are all easily accessible by public transport. Kidz Galore is highly regarded in the local community for providing excellent, quality care with highly committed staff; many of whom have been with the company for numerous years.
We are now looking to expand our team with staff who wish to commit to working in Australia in the long term. We are seeking Full-time Qualified Childcare Professionals to become room leaders for our new, 0-5 year old, purpose built facility that will commence operation in January 2014. Salary will be based on the Government of Western Australia Department of Commerce: Children’s Services (Private) State Award Summary (2006), and will be dependent on qualification and experience.
Selection Criteria – Essential
• Relevant qualifications in accordance with Australian Children’s
Education and Care Quality Authority (ACEQA)
• Proven skills in the development and implementation of Children’s Curriculums.
• Extensive knowledge of child development 0-6 years.
• Previous experience in such position.
• Skills and abilities in the supervision of staff teams.
• Proven ability to effectively communicate with children and their families.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Relevant police and health clearances.
• A willingness to participate in future professional development where necessary.
Desirable
• Understanding and knowledge of current Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
• Ability to assist in the development/implementation and evaluation of policies and procedures.
