SALARY: €1,200 for full 6 week period (basic pay)
SHIFT: 6 hours per day, may vary, normally 8.30am – 2.30pm
Job role
As a child activity leader, you will be working with children from ages 3-12 who will be split up into 3 groups during the camp which will take place indoors during the day. This camp is part of the English speaking activities organized for the children therefore speaking a good standard of fluent English is essential. Some of the roles include:
– Organising and supervising activities
– Welcoming and supervising children from ages 3-12
– Telling stories and fairy tales
– Leading manual activities
– Entertaining children
– Organising game workshops
– Being responsible for children’s safety
Requirements
– Experience in working with kids
– Availability and international mobility for one month during summer 2014
– A passion to work with kids
– Communicating in a good standard of English and adapting and knowing how to interact well with kids
– Knowing how to control a group of kids well and keeping them busy and entertained for a substantial period of time
