As a volunteer at this exciting project in South Africa you will gain hands-on experience in working with animals and learn about African endangered wildlife, while ensuring the survival of cheetahs in the wild for generations to come. As a volunteer your day will laid out with a basic structure which includes: enclosure cleaning, animal enrichment, behaviour monitoring, preparation of meat and feeding, as well as certain animal stimulation projects. It is good to remember that the needs of the animals come first, and your day could be turned on its head in an instant, so expect the unexpected.
Costs 2 weeks: 15500 ZAR/currently 900 GBP – 4 weeks 25000 ZAR/currently 1400 GBP including accommodation, all meals, return transport from Johannesburg airport to the project
