COSTA RICA > This position is available year round for any length of time and does not require previous experience, nor the ability to speak Spanish for this project.
COSTA RICA > Set between its tropical Caribbean and Pacific coasts, Costa Rica is one of the most breath-taking countries in the world. Even though it covers just 0.03% of the world’s landmass, it is home to an incredible 500,000 species including jaguars, pumas, four species of monkeys and five species of turtle. This is the highest density of species of any country in the world.
THAILAND > A magnificent country of idyllic beaches, tumbling forest landscapes, hospitable people and fantastic food. Experience this incredible destination whilst volunteering in a gibbon sanctuary where volunteers care for rescued gibbons.
THAILAND > Thailand continues to be one of the most tempting destinations for those who are seeking a combination of enchanting natural surroundings, alluring culture, and incredible biodiversity. Breathtaking silvery beaches lapped by warm, crystal clear waters are complemented by friendly locals, mouth-watering local delicacies, and an ancient and fascinating historical heritage rooted in Buddhist origins.
FIJI > The marine research and conservation programme is run in association with the University of the South Pacific. The work aims to provide the local stakeholders, research organisations and government bodies with the information they need to design and implement management plans for the future protection of Beqa island and lagoon marine ecosystem.
HAITI > Save their lives provides a great training arena for Social Work students. The internship program offers opportunities for gaining experience in providing support for women in violent relationships, violence prevention and anger management, living without violence programs, counseling and therapy, loss and grief support for those who just lost a loved one, abortion and relationship issues, social work and community support for underprivileged families.
HAITI > At these placements volunteers will teach English, arts and crafts, songs, and sports, and at the baby orphanages volunteers will clean, feed, and play with the children at local community centers. All the work is aimed bringing light and happiness into the lives of these disadvantaged children.
SPAIN > How would you like to start your new year with a new challenge? Fancy living in Spain and gaining practical teaching experience that leads to full TEFL Certification and the offer of a paid TEFL job?
AFRICA > This project is looking for people to live and operate in Sub-Saharan Africa, as a new generation of independent activists. Volunteers will be part of a network, provided with training and tools to pursue the activism path, initially in wildlife related issues and later as they choose.
