We are looking for cat-sitters to care for our pets in Niguelas in Granada Spain. We are a retired couple with 2 cats each about 5 years old. I`m English and Elina Finnish but we have lived in Spain for many years. We live in a comfortable 3 bedroomed house in Niguelas, the highest village in the beautiful Lecrin Valley: midway between Granada and the Costa Tropical (around 25 minutes in either direction).
We have a small easily-managed courtyard garden with a couple of fruit trees. It is close to the Sierra Nevada National Park on the lower slopes of Mt Caballo, one of Spain’s highest peaks. It is a wonderful area for walking, mountain biking, motorway access to the coast and the historical/cultural activities of Granada. Its South-facing slopes are verdant and filled with orchards growing figs, almonds, oranges, pomegranates etc. A small car is available for use free of charge.
