USA / Lotus Garden HIlo
Headed to Hawaii ? A carpenter or someone with construction skills is wanted for a small bed and breakfast in the heart of Downtown Hilo, Hawaii. This position is open for between 3 and 4 weeks.
About Hilo: (there’s only three major ‘towns’ on the island). Hilo is a base for exploring black sand beaches, nature hikes, a live volcano and one or two surf spots. Hilo has a lively music scene, a great farmer’s market and is generally a friendly place to live.
Who we are: Small family business run by a couple who also live on site. We are an artist /musician team hosting guests from all over the world. We have a lush tropical garden but we are a few blocks from the bay and centrally located.
What is provided: We can assist with rides where needed and hooking you up with opportunities to see the island in your off time. We provide meals and accommodation and negotiable wage of between $10 and $15 per hour for between 15 and 20 hours per week. We cannot help with work permits or visas for applicants outside the USA.
What is expected: Actual carpentry skills are required and actual experience in construction is required. This is not ‘on the job training’ (so please don’t apply if you don’t have skills). Good presentation (personal hygeine) is required and a commitment to a fair exchange also. Just like any job you would be professional, turn up to work on time, be honest in your work.
What else ? Someone who plays music is a plus. Do you have a sense of humor? Do you like to have fun? Good!
Does this sound like you? Please provide enough information in your reply to this ad that we don’t have to guess if you have the skills and have carefully read the terms of this exchange. We have hosted ‘workers’ in this way previously and it always works out if there is honesty and integrity.
Mahalo (thank you) for checking out this opportunity. If this looks like it is right for you, we look forward to hearing from you: email@example.com
Nationalities Accepted: We cannot help with work permits or visas outside the USA
Expires: Nov 30, 2018
