BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS / Cooper Island Beach Club
Landscape Gardener: We are seeking a young, fit hardworking individual to help maintain the grounds at our resort, with the experience and knowledge to assist in new landscape ventures including farming on the property to supply fresh organic tropical fruit & vegetable to our restaurant on a daily basis. Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and two years’ experience in a similar role. Due to our location, you will be working in the sun most days in a very hot environment. Barista, Bar Tenders & Wait Staff required, individuals with Front of House, Bar and Barista experience to assist in our restaurant and resort coffee shop. Must enjoy guest contact and be of a very caring and bubbly personality.
All applicants must be willing to live full-time on the island, working split-shifts, evenings, weekends & public holidays and must be able to live in close quarters with other employees. A one year Work Permit is required for all Nationalities subject to approval by the Labour and Immigration Departments and can be easily renewed each year. If you have a criminal record, including juvenile offences or major health issues, approval will be denied. If you suffer from food allergies including gluten intolerance or require daily prescription drugs, then this is not the location for you due to limited supplies and medical assistance. Non-smokers are preferred.
Package includes – salary, accommodation, employee meals, service charge, gratuities, bonus.
