Family of five living in Munich Germany is looking for an English speaking aupair starting in mid-September 2013. Over the last five years, we have had aupairs from different nations who all stayed with us for a year or longer.
Us, that is the parents being both self-employed and three kids of 12, 11 and 4,5 years at the moment. The work would usually start in the early afternoons and include looking after the kids as well as some light housework. The older two children go to school until 4.30 pm and 5 pm during the week, the youngest one attends pre-school in the mornings to early afternoons.
We live in a house with a nice garden just on the outskirts of Munich. Pullach as it is called is a very nice community and the S-Bahn – which is only a ten minute walk from home – takes you to downtown Munich in only 20 minutes. Shopping facilities, a community pool, language classes are all around the corner. A cleaner is employed. A fully furnished large and very nice bedroom with adjacent bathroom is provided.
We travel from time to time within Europe and take the aupair along. Three to four evenings during the week are free as well as most weekends except for some babysitting on week-end evenings. The aupair can attend German classes during the mornings (they are within walking distance), and she may speak German with us adults but we expect our aupair to speak English with the children.
We are looking for a responsible young woman of at least 20 years of age with some childcare experience. A driver’s license is a must and the aupair will have use of a car once she feels comfortable driving here. We have already had very good experiences with all our previous aupairs. This includes two American, a Canadian, a Namibian and South-African girl, all staying for a year or longer. Munich is a great city for locals as well as visitors. Getting along in English is very easy and there is a very large English speaking community if you wish to meet native English speakers.
