Be an Au Pair in a Chinese family for 3, 6 or 12 months and share with them the mutual wealth of culture and language. Contribute 25 (approx.) hours a week of childcare, light household duties and teaching your English and culture to the host family with the foremost intention of improving the child (ren)’s English. You will receive 8-10 [class] hours of Chinese lessons a week, living expenses, travel reimbursement, mobile phone + call credit, orientation and more. We match you with the most suitable host family to live with, and you will not only receive on-going support towards your stay in China, but can share and enjoy your experiences with the other Au Pairs out here.
Providing that you are aged 18-29, fluent in English, have full bodily health and no criminal records then you are already qualified for this program. Additionally, for this program you need to be able to work independently whilst holding some measure of cultural compassion towards the people, language and laws of China. It is also important that you are competent to look after children.
