Living in Manuel Antonio and volunteering in a community center or school in the nearby town Quepos on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, you will be helping provide children from disadvantaged communities with the opportunity to learn new skills, express themselves and develop self-confidence through fun and creative activities that many would not otherwise have access to. You will take your own creative workshops and will be free to come up with your own lesson ideas across a variety of different media and art forms.
Creative Arts can play a significant role in in the personal and educational development of underprivileged children. However, due to a lack of resources, schools and education centres often struggle to deliver arts education, so your enthusiasm, ideas and creative streak really can make a difference to lives and futures of the children.
